From 1990 to 1998, Dr. Azad honed his surgical expertise at the renowned Skin Institute, performing over 12,000 surgeries while actively conducting workshops and contributing to the advancement of dermatologic surgery. He later pursued specialised cosmetic surgery training with Dr. K.S. Bhangoo in Buffalo, New York, further refining his skills.

A dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Azad holds life memberships with the Association of Dermatologic Surgeons of India, the Association of Cutaneous Surgeons of India, and the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL). In 2000, he underwent advanced laser training under Dr. Christopher Nanni at the Skin Institute in New York, expanding his expertise in cutting-edge technologies.
